Another Gold Medal for ICON Wagyu: Celebrating Our Success at the Australian Wagyu Association Awards
We are thrilled to share some fantastic news. Our ICON Wagyu has just received another incredible accolade – winning Gold in the commercial wagyu MS 5-7 class at the Australian Wagyu Association Awards.
The competition was fierce, but our ICON Wagyu stood out among the rest. The judges were impressed by its stunning marbling, tenderness, and juiciness, as well as its unique flavour profile of mushrooms, butter, and cashews. In the judge’s words, “It was a sheer delight”.
This latest gold medal adds to our growing collection of awards from prestigious events such as the Royal Sydney Fine Food & Wine Show, the Royal Queensland Food Awards, and, of course, the AWA. We are so proud to have received recognition for our commitment to creating wagyu that perfectly blends the renowned Japanese bloodline with the essence of Australia.
As a small team, we are inspired by our passion for creating high-quality wagyu, and we are grateful for the collaborations with our pioneering geneticists and cattle breeders that have made ICON possible.
