BEEF24 was one for the books.

Co-hosting a celebrity chef lunch was a crowd favourite

BEEF24 in Rockhampton was an absolute success. As it only comes around every three years it is always a week jammed packed with action.

We kicked the week off co-hosting with our parent company, Agtrade, a Celebrity Chef lunch with ex MasterChef Justine Scholfield. Bringing 160 excitable BEEF24 attendees together over a three course meal showcasing some of our finest Wagyu provided the ideal platform to launch the newest brand to our portfolio, Senku Pure Wagyu. Justine Scholfield curated a beautiful dish, highlighting Senku’s extensive marbling with a Carpaccio with prink peppercorns. We were so proud to launch this brand in Rockhampton as the brand sources some of Central Queensland’s finest purebred Wagyu cattle. 

Following this stunning dich, Justine presented her take on the humble meat pie with ICON Wagyu Bourguinon Pithivier, demonstrating the diversity of Wagyu cuts using a slow braised chuck as the hero. 

Finishing off the meal was our grassfed Roam Australian Wagyu eye fillet with Bearnaise and kiplers, quickly becoming a fan favourite.

This was an unforgettable start to BEEF24!

Throughout the rest of the week Justine showcased her skills in the Demo kitchen with our Wagyu. 


Nick Thompson, General Manager, continued the week sharing his brand and retail insights on a panel discussing all things Carbon and ACCUs. He even featured on Beef TV to share with the hosts our success in the 2023 Export Awards. 

Overall, it was a great week celebrating everything Beef!
