Central Queensland Producer Day.

Driving Wagyu Innovation and our commitment to quality.

Recently, we hosted a Producer Day event in Emerald, Central Queensland. It was a fantastic day filled with engaging conversations and valuable insights into the world of Wagyu production.

At the event, we discussed the evolving dynamics of the Wagyu market, noting the increasing demand for beef in emerging markets and the trend towards premiumisation within the Wagyu category.

A key focus of the event was on animal nutrition and its impact on Wagyu quality. Animal Nutrition Specialist, Damien Nankervis shared his expertise with the producers. Attendees gained valuable insights into the role of IMF cells and the importance of tailored feeding practices in optimising Wagyu products.

We showcased our diverse Wagyu programs, Muse, ICON, Roam, and introduced our new Purebred Wagyu brand, Senku, demonstrating our commitment to innovation and quality. Not only did producers hear about the programs, they also got to experience a 5 course meal prepared by Celebrity Chef and restauranteur Mark Best featuring ICON Wagyu, Senku Pure Wagyu and ROAM Australian Wagyu.

We’re excited about the potential for new collaboration and partnership opportunities that emerged from the event. We wanted to thank all the producers who were involved and participated, and we look forward to continuing the conversation and driving innovation in the Wagyu industry together.
