It is with great pride that we announce our victory in the Sustainability and Green Economy category at the 61st Australian Export Awards. Paradigm Foods were announced winners of the prestigious Australian Export Award after success in the Sustainability & Green Economy at the Queensland Export Awards the month prior. This recognition underscores our dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices and our mission to Make meat better.
Since our beginning in 2018,we have been dedicated to disrupting the traditional red meat sector. Our bespoke, high-quality beef and lamb brands are exported to over 26 countries and this award reaffirms our commitment to verified social and environmental performance.
Guided by our Four Pillars of Purpose – Product, Partners, People, and Planet – creative impact through purposeful action is at our core. Winning in this category allows us to lead by example, showcasing that red meat can be produced sustainably without compromising quality.
Our General Manager, Nick Thompson, said it best when he accepted the award on the night.
“This prize just goes to show what the entire industry has been able to achieve over the last five years. I can honestly say – we haven’t gone down this pathway of sustainability and the achievements of this award for our own individual glory. We’ve done it as a part of representing the good work across our industry and
the hope that everyone around this room tonight can start to realise that the Australian red meat industry can actually provide the world with environmentally sustainable products. This really is a great honour.”
The Australian Export Awards provide a robust platform for recognition, and this win is not just for Paradigm Foods; it celebrates our industry’s collective efforts towards a more sustainable future. We are so honoured to be recognised in this way, and feel it’s a shared celebration for the sustainability efforts across the whole red meat industry.
